On a windless day, a bird can fly at a constant 10 m/s. It flies 6.0km east and then home again.

How much time does the round trip take? I keep getting 600 seconds, but my teacher still tells me it's wrong.

time=distance/velocity= 12000m/10m/s=1200sec for the round trip.
