Which of the following best describes the Columbian Exchange that occurred during the Age of Discovery?

B. It was a genetic shift due to population interbreeding.
C. It was a cultural transformation.
D. It was a religious transformation

I choose C but that isn't correct. Would it be B.?

This is a very poor question. C is the best answer, but a,b, d are true also. B is total nonsense. Are you paying teachers to write such poor questions? Very few major movements can be ascribed to single five letter sentences.

If you were an agronomist, or agricultural geneticist, you probably would focus on the large scale transfer of plants and animals. (Answers a and b). If you were studying the spread of Catholicism, answer D would come to mind. If you were a sociologist, answer C. If you were looking at infections diseases (yes, they were spread both ways), and the associated deaths, you might be interested in answer B.
In my opinion, the best answer is C, but that is my viewpoint.
