What is the concentration of a solution, in gsolute/100gsolvent, made using 2.29 g of KNO3 in 2.03 g of H2O?

well, since the solute is KNO3 and the solvent is H2O, I'd say it is

2.29/2.03 * (100/2.03)/(100/2.03) = 112.81/100

I think you must have meant
2.29 x (100/2.03) = 112.81g KNO3/100 g H2O which I would round to 113 g solute/100 g H2O
