solution to electrical poles that carry electrical wire seem to get smaller the further away you are. Find the apparent height of each pole if the tallest pole is 50 feet tall and there is 100 feet between poles.

If the closest pole is at distance x, then the apparent height of the nth pole beyond is
given by using similar triangles:
h/x = 50/(x+100n)
so,
h = 50x/(x+100n)
given by using similar triangles:
h/x = 50/(x+100n)
so,
h = 50x/(x+100n)
