If a car travelling 48km per hour and is 10 metres behind a car travelling 35km per hour, how much time before it catches up?

1 answer

48000/3600 = 13.33 m/s
35000/3600 = 9.72 m/s

d1 = d + 10

d = 9.72 t
d1 = 13.33 t = d + 10

so

9.72 t + 10 = 13.33 t
