To balance O, multiply left side by 3 and the right side by 2:

2 KClO3 ---> KCl + 3 O2

Now to balance the KCl, you multiply the right side by 2:

2 KClO3 ---> 2 KCl + 3 O2

That should be it!

First sentence should read "multiply left side by 2 and right side by 3."
