Describe at least two advantages to having a solo practice. Describe at least two benefits of having a group practice. Are there any disadvantages to having a group practice? What are the disadvantages to having a solo practice?

People who like working alone prefer a solo practice. They may feel that patients get more personal care with only one doctor available.

Group practices have the advantage of economy -- sharing nurses and office personnel, for instance. They also have other doctors to cover for them when they want or need time off.
