Jessica is swimming in the 500 meter race. It takes her 1 minute and 35 seconds to swim one lap in an Olympic sized pool(it's only 50 meters long).
How long will it take her to swim the 500 meter race?

500 m is 5 times as long as 100 meters, so it will take

5 * 1:35 = 5:165 = 7:45
