if u have swam one lap in a swimming pool, that means from one end to the other and back. In 3.5 h, a swimmer makes exactly 60 laps in the pool, that is 40 m long. Determine the distance the swimmer traveled, the total displacement of the swimmer, the swimmer's average velocity and the swimmer's average speed

60*80m/3.5 hr = 1371 m/hr

knowing that speed you can do the rest. But watch out when doing velocity, which is not the same as speed.
