there are tutoring chatrooms, but not here.
To play around with derivatives and much more, visit wolframalpha.com. For this problem, enter
derivative (x) / ((x^2)-1)^(-1/2)
and it will show you
(2x^2-1)/√(x^2-1)
and you can click on the "step-by-step solution" button for the details
i need to find the derivative using chain rule and show steps:
y= (x) / ((x^2)-1)^(-1/2)
and is it possible to have free tutoring online like through a chatroom? i am in need of help

y= (x) / ((x^2)-1)^(-1/2)
do you have a typo? That is the same as:
y = x (x^2-1)^(+1/2)
dy/dx = x(1/2)(x^2-1)^-.5(2x) +(x^2-1)^.5
= x^2(x^2-1)^-.5 + (x^2-1)^.5
do you have a typo? That is the same as:
y = x (x^2-1)^(+1/2)
dy/dx = x(1/2)(x^2-1)^-.5(2x) +(x^2-1)^.5
= x^2(x^2-1)^-.5 + (x^2-1)^.5
