Would this be -110 ? I know a negative times a negative should be a positive but does this change when the second number is inside the ( )

if it is a negative times a negative then the answer would be a 110 because the negatives cancel each other out
That rule doesn't change when the second number is inside the parentheses.

-10(-11) = 110
