The population of the city B
= 1000 million
= 1 Billion

No city has a population of 1 Billion !!!!

2. number of grains of rice
= 10^-3 / 10^-9
= 10^6 or 1 million grains of rice
10^-4 million = 10^-4 * 10^6 = 100
