1/(the 4th root of x^3) is equal to x^(-4/3) right?

1 answer

close, but why did you "flip" the fraction?

1/(x^3)^(1/4)
= 1/x^(3/4)
= x^(-3/4)

recall a^(m/n) = 1/a^(-m/n)
