I see some algebra and trig, but no calculus
also, no question
(1-sin^2 theta) - (sin^2 theta)
(1-sin^2 theta) * (sin^2 theta)

Ooops, that's what I meant to write.
Can you simplify?
Can you simplify?
well, 1-sin^2 = cos^2, so you have
cos^2θ - sin^2θ = cos 2θ
cos^2θ * sin^2θ = 1/4 sin^2(2θ)
cos^2θ - sin^2θ = cos 2θ
cos^2θ * sin^2θ = 1/4 sin^2(2θ)
