(1) I am so glad I spent two weeks at the Planet Mound Camp this summer. (2) It was full of exciting activities in the wilderness. (3) My camp leader, Mr. Gregg, was a fantastic teacher. (4) He coached us in many life skills to survive in the wild without any technological gadgets. (5) We learned to track wildlife and use our senses and instincts to stay alive and away from the danger. (6) We gathered and cook our food on fires that we made with a string and a spindle.
(7) Every night, we camped at a different location in the woods. (8) We constructed shelters for the night and predicted the weather for the next day by observing the signs in the sky and the wind. (9) Off course, during all these activities, we wore masks and tried our best to keep six feet apart from each other. (10) It was so fascinating that I have asked my Parents to sign me up for the weekend camp.
