One solution. if your talking about discriminant
Sorry! its no real solution. because when you do discriminant i get a negative number so it would be no real solution
-8x^2-8x-2=0
or
4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0
discrm = 16 - 4(4)(1) = 0
thus there is one solution.
check:
4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0
(2x + 1)^2 = 0
2x+1 = 0
x = -1/2
or
4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0
discrm = 16 - 4(4)(1) = 0
thus there is one solution.
check:
4x^2 + 4x + 1 = 0
(2x + 1)^2 = 0
2x+1 = 0
x = -1/2
