Then John came along and and ate 2/3 of the brownie .
: Of the hole pan brownie John ate = 3/4 × 2/3
= 1/2

2) you have 6 donuts and you want to give 2/3 of them to a friend . You want to keep 1/3 for yourself = 6 × 1/3 = 2
: Your friend will get = 6 × 2/3 = 4
