LOL - why me ?

1. 2x > -6 and x - 4 < 3
x > -3 and x < +7
-3 < x < +7
2. x + 3 > 2x + 1 and -4x < -8
note if you divide by negative number, change arrow direction
2 > x and x > 2 can not be both
3. -6 < x + 3 < 6
subtract 3 from everything
-9 < x < 3
'cause you rock (: !
thanks for helping me so far (:
4. -3x > -6 or x - 5 < 2
x < 2
or x < 7
everything left of seven satisfies the second, everything left of 2 satisfies both. In other words x<2 is a subset of x <7
5. x - 2 > 2x + 1 or 10 > -2x + 2
x < -2 or x > -4
that is everywhere
